Talus Pay Social Media

Develop and execute a social media strategy for payment processing company, Talus Pay.

Talus Pay provides payment processing services to small- to mid-sized companies across the United States. As their social media manager, I was responsible for executing Talus Pay’s marketing strategy in social media spaces. Talus Pay took a content-led approach to marketing, focusing on email, blogs and social media content to provide value to America’s Main Street merchants.

Integrated Strategy

As a marketing team, our strategy was to sow trust in prospects and customers by providing helpful information to small business owners. On social media, this meant creating high-impact content with substance.

Creative Execution

As social media manager for Talus Pay, I aimed to infuse the feed with as much value and variety as possible to win the eyeballs of scrollers.

I researched helpful content for small business owners and developed a monthly content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Topics included a mix of timely and evergreen information that included things like “How to Work with a Family Member” and “A Breakdown of Small Business Aid Available During the COVID-19 Pandemic.”

I also wrote social copy, built social post visual assets, and strategically scheduled posts in a monthly content calendar.

Reflections

We executed 125 unique posts across 4 channels. The Talus Pay Instagram account has seen a 50% increase in followers with a 2.2% engagement rate.
