A Strategic Solve

In a 3-month organic social media campaign, our primary goal was to show consumers and stylists that Sport Clips are they best at what they do—mens’ and boys’ hair. Our secondary goals were to showcase a personable and clever voice on Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok.

While competitors are busy speaking about how great and super they are, Sport Clips would be walking the walk by sharing their expertise on mens’ hair trends and styling tips.

Creative Execution

In a team of a social media strategist, creative director, graphic designer and copywriter, I helped to develop weekly creative. We aimed to introduce a variety of content both in medium—static graphics, photos, videos and carousels—and in topic. I shot several lo-fi video shoots for both consumer and stylist audiences. As the art director on the project, I worked with a video editor to accomplish a fun, deprecating tone commonly found on Tik Tok and Instagram Reels.

An educational video for men and boys who may not know what trending haircuts are called or how to communicate what they want to their stylist.

An educational video for stylists that may encounter dry, textured hair in their salons. The stylist describes how they assess dry hair and scale, and what products to use.
